ROTTERDAM 2020 ■ There’s no time to ‘grow’

A Eurovision victory apparently means that the national media takes over the Eurovision circus. For months now, the Dutch are witnessing at least once a week a representative from the organization committee in tv talk shows like “Eva Jinek”, “Op 1” and “De Wereld Draait Door”. ROTTERDAM 2020 ■ It’s the song, always!

There are moments when I still can not fully fathom the victory of Duncan Laurence. We have already arrived in a new year, that coincidentally has the most perfectly sounding number since ‘2000’, but The Netherlands’ 5th Eurovision victory seems only yesterday.
